Thermaltake released a new series of 120 mm RGB LED fans that uses software and a proprietary digital fan hub to change colors and fan speeds. The Thermaltake Riing LED RGB Radiator Fan TT Premium Edition (the company seems to have dropped the ‘12’ from the name) case fans are the very first from the company that can change colors using software.
Thermaltake RGB LED fans, a patented LED circular 256 multicolored 120mm radiator fan with Riing RGB Software. Through the software, the users can easily adjust fan speed as well as fan colors for up to 48 Riing RGB fans. Especially, users can switch between ‘Silent’ mode and ‘Performance’ mode by simply dragging the “FAN MODE” bar.
The fans themselves feature 11 blades and a hydraulic bearing, along with rubber-padded mounts to reduce vibrations and a “wind blocker” frame that the company says directs airflow toward the middle of the fan blades to block air from escaping, further reducing vibration and noise. Using the software’s preset Performance Mode, the fans operate at 500-1,400 RPM. In Silent Mode, the fans reduce their maximum speed to 1,000 RPM.
Moreover, the fan features hydraulic bearing that promises ultra-low noise. To strengthen the stability during the operation, the four corners of the RGB fan are special designed with anti-vibration pads. Light up your game world with the Thermaltake Riing 12 LED RGB Radiator Fan TT Premium!
