Acer Started Selling Its Latest Monitor In The US

Acer recently showcase its gaming monitor lineup with the UltraWide release. Newest addition comes in the form of the Acer XR382CQK, which sports a big 37.5-inch 21:9 display along with a resolution of 3440 x 1600 pixel. But its resolution is not the only the notable feature that the XR382CQK brings to the table; this curved monitor also has a ZeroFrame design that minimizes unsightly bezels to give users a more immersive gaming experience.The display is 37.5-inch.

The display has a refresh up to 75Hz and a 5ms response time and uses AMD FreeSync technology (AMD’s competitor to Nvidia’s G-Sync), that helps tame tearing and choppiness during gameplay by keeping your computer’s GPU and the monitor’s rendering rate in sync. Acer also gives you 3 customizable profiles so you can adjust settings while you’re playing and without opening the OSD menu.

The Acer XR382CQK is available today from ‘leading retailers’ with a MSRP of $1,300. The features and specification are comparable to the 38UC99 by LG available for around $1,299 as well and the Asus Designo Curve MX38VQ announced back in January this year. The company adds the odd extra of Qi wireless charging to its base, but it is not expected until the Q3 2017.
